An exciting opportunity to join us as a Upholstery Apprentice based in our Marine department.

Lang & Potter are the market leader in the design and manufacture of marine furniture and furnishings including cutting edge helm seat design. We work for some of the largest international brands in the luxury goods industry, amongst others, working hard to research, develop and detail products at a high standard.

As an apprentice within our Marine Upholstery department, you will learn all aspects of Modern Upholstery from pattern matching to templating, cutting, foaming and covering of all furniture which goes onto super yachts. The furniture can range from sofas, mattresses, beds, sunbeds and panels, as well as working with luxury soft furnishings. You will learn how to work with leather, suede and other difficult materials as well as how to use cutting tools, staple guns and upholstery tools.
You may also be required to go onto site to fit the products which will involve working on Marinas and luxury yachts. You will work with specialists within their field of work to get the best training and deliver a high-end product.
